Embracing the Interruptions

“We interrupt this evenings program to bring you this breaking news…”

“Mom, I just threw up in my bed.”

So, do you know anything about interruptions?  (We each chuckle.) They can be so irritating and get a person so sidetracked, can’t they? In my mind I often think, “I have a list of important things I should be doing”.

Winter Craft for Kids: Pinecone Bird Feeder

During our Thanksgiving family get together with our kids and their families, our children helped to provide the energy to drive out into the pasture to cut down a cedar tree to decorate for Christmas. After having 42 house guests on Thanksgiving weekend and seeing that it was starting to drizzle out, I was all too willing to excuse them from the yearly tradition.
