Remember that drawing from Mark 12:30-31 that we talked about way back at the beginning of the summer? (Head back here to take another look at it!) Well, after walking through what connection with God looks like in our hearts, souls, and minds, the final, outer circle to consider is our strength, or our bodies.
Our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit- an amazing thought and an amazing responsibility! Creating this video really challenged me to follow through on some practical actions this summer to take better care of my temple, and I hope it challenges you to do the same. As I mention in the video, let’s help each other stay accountable!
Week 7 Verses: 2 Corinthians 6:16
Week 7 Challenge: This week, choose one element of your “strength” (i.e. rest, exercise, or diet) and take one practical step of action (i.e. take a walk, don’t go for seconds, take a 20 minute nap) to provide some tender loving care for your temple.
